Release Dates
Halo: Campaign Evolved launched worldwide on July 28, 2026 at 8:00 AM PDT. In Japan and much of APAC that unlock landed on July 29 local time—store countdowns remain the best clock check for delayed regional storefronts.
Premium Edition and Collector's Bundle Early Access ran July 23–28, 2026 (from 8:00 AM PDT). The game is now unlocked for all editions and Game Pass. This community wiki is not an official Halo Studios site—confirm regional store status on your platform.
Platforms
Campaign Evolved ships on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam (app 2806050) and the Xbox / Microsoft Store with Xbox Play Anywhere where offered, and PS5 through PlayStation Store. Xbox One and PS4 are not supported.
Launch messaging covers 4-player crossplay co-op and cross-progression between linked Xbox and Steam accounts where the feature is enabled. Cloud streaming may be available where Xbox Cloud Gaming or platform holders announce it—treat those as optional extras, not a day-one guarantee on every device.

Editions
Standard Edition is the full game at the July 28 launch unlock: remastered Combat Evolved campaign, Operation: METEORITE, 42 Skulls, Campaign Remix, and 4-player crossplay co-op.
Premium Edition adds Early Access from July 23, the Foundry Armory Pack (Classic 2001 Mark V armor style, Classic Assault Rifle, Gilded Onyx weapon / armor styles), the Alpha Halo Armory Pack, a digital artbook, the Hungry Buzzards short story, and a digital manual. Collector's Bundle layers physical / bundle extras on top of the Premium digital entitlement—confirm your retailer SKU for what ships in the box versus what unlocks in-game.

Game Pass
Halo: Campaign Evolved arrived on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on July 28, 2026 at 8:00 AM PDT—the same moment as the worldwide Standard unlock. Game Pass never granted Early Access; that window required Premium or Collector's before July 28.
Game Pass subscribers get the full Standard experience. Edition cosmetics such as the Foundry and Alpha Halo Armory Packs remain Premium / Collector's entitlements unless a later offer says otherwise. Free launch armor styles (Silver Anniversary, Sandstone Ancient, Damascus Prototype, and the limited Hidden Blade Discord Quest) are documented on our Codes and Armor Styles pages.
